INTRODUCTION
I am so excited for this new year for PARADIGM. We have so many ideas and
plans to look forward to. I would like to share a few things that we planning to
fulfill before the end of 2008.
PARADIGM was a vision that I always had a heart for. As we continue to grow
and mature, I would like to see Paradigm become an awesome Discipleship
Program for young adults.
HISTORY
PARADIGM started last summer, 2006 with about 7 young adults meeting on
Wednesday nights for a couple of hours. We have already grown to about 20
young adults and continue to grow.
The reasons why we like to call this a Youth Discipleship Program instead of a
Youth Group is because we believe we can teach young adults to become servants
first and then successful leaders.
MISSION STATEMENT
This generation will become our leaders of tomorrow and we need to be able to
provide them with the skills and the heart of leadership.
VISION & PROJECTS
Last year was a year of getting us off the ground and established. This year, I
would like to focus on the discipleship part of the program. We are going to be
starting a bible study which include workbooks and journal. And the young adults
will be memorizing scripture verses. I feel this is a vital part of this group and will
help the students to grow and mature in Christ.
Of course, there is also the human videos and drama that we will continue to use.
I do not like to use word "drama team" because we are not here to give anyone a
show. These are only tools that we use to expose God's Truth. Last year, we were
able to be a part of some outreaches that Family Life Church had, including:
Open House Outreach, the Four Shadows Fall Concert, and also the Christmas
Eve Service. This is the only beginning. God is already opening doors for us to
possibly to go minister at other churches for this upcoming year. And we would to
set up a Youth Rally at Family Life Church sometimes this year.
We are extremely excited!

loving, praying, guiding, and providing them
constantly with tools to make wise, and
discerning decisions.
Don't ever anticipate them that our youth will
make the best choices and decision. We didn't
and still don't, therefore how can we expect them
to decide for themselves.
Let us take them on a journey of learning who
God is, His purpose, His intention, and learn
from His words how to face and defeat the
battle in this world that they encounter everyday
on their lives.
