| "Do not be ashamed of the testimony of our Lord". - 2 Timothy 1:8 |
Moses S. had cancer in his stomach and a mass in his throat. The doctors were sure the cancer had spread
throughout his body and he was dying. His mother called our prayer chain for us to pray for his healing, but more
importantly, she wanted her son saved. Well Moses S. did give his heart to the Lord Jesus Christ and after he got
saved, God healed him. He is now home and doing well. God is so wonderful!
The doctors said that Mr. M., a 58 year old man, had cancer in his liver and pancreas. He was given only a 50%
chance of survival. Our people prayed and God answered our prayers. Mr. M. went through surgery well and the
doctors were pleased that he only had cancer in part of his liver which they removed in surgery. He is doing well
now. Glory to God!
Christina, a 13 year old girl, was rushed to the hospital when her ovarian cyst ruptured spreading poison throughout
her body. This situation was very dangerous. Our emergency prayer chain was called and we started praying. God
answered prayer and Christina is now home and doing fine. Thank you, Jesus!
Wed, 14 Nov 2007 23:16:02 -0800 (PST) On Nov. 8th, William Ward, 87 years old, left his son's law office to go to
the dentist office but he never showed up. The police were called in to search for him and William was no where to
be found. His daughter-in-law phoned our emergency prayer chain on Nov. 10th because William's family was so
worried. We prayed and on Nov. 12th William got home. He had gotten lost driving hours away from his home and
ran off the road doing damage to his car but God knew where he was and got William safely home. Thank you,
Jesus, for another miracle!
Mon, 24 Sept. 2007 20:22:42 -0700 (PDT) Because of swelling and pain, Della needed healing for her knees. She
was placed on the prayer request sheet in June. She was scheduled to have surgery on her knees in Oct., but God
answered our prayers. She no longer has that swelling, or pain, and doesn't need to walk with a cane anymore so the
surgery was cancelled. Thank You, Jesus, for healing her knees!
Sun, 23 Sept. 2007 15:16:35 -0700 (PDT) After 1 year of back pain in 2006, I kept going to the doctors getting
more pills and a back specialist. Finally, before I was supposed to go see another doctor, I requested healing
prayer through the church prayer request list. I have had no more back pain, no more pills.

Mon, 10 Sept. 2007 17:34:18 -0700 (PDT) Tim S. asked the church to put him on the Prayer Request list for guidance.
He wanted direction for his career and he needed prayer regarding his court case for tickets. We have been praying for
him since March. Tim says that all of his court situations have been cleared up and all with positive results in his favor.
Also he is praising the Lord for helping him to find a beautiful Christian girl for a girlfriend. His pilot career is going
great and someone GAVE him an airplane worth $96,000.00! WOW!! Tim gives God ALL the glory!
Thank you, Lord!

salvation, has given his heart to the Lord this week. Thank you, Jesus!
Tue, 28 Aug 2007 11:31:29 -0700 (PDT) Amy had been praying for her husband, Frank, to be saved since 1998. She
had him placed on our Prayer Request list for salvation. Several months later he came to church and gave his heart to
the Lord. Now he and his wife are serving the Lord together. Thank you, Jesus!

results being negative, but the biggest reason for my testimony is for the confidence God has given me.
I was asking Him "Why can I be so confident and strong for others but so weak and scared for myself?"
Joshua 1:9 says, "Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be terrified;

everyone has been praying for her. We are happy to report that she is completely well and doing better than she was
before the stroke. Glory to Jesus!
Wed, 11 Jul 2007 22:28:36 -0700 (PDT) Mesinda has been suffering from cancer for the last 6 months and was
put on our prayer request list. Praise the Lord, she is now cancer free! Thank you, God, for Your healing power!
Wed, 11 Jul 2007 16:12:49 -0700 (PDT) Bob, an elderly man with cancer was going down hill fast. His pastor called
and we placed him on our prayer request list last May. This man is now in remission! Thank you, Jesus!
Mon, 9 Jul 2007 21:19:53 -0700 (PDT) A grandmother phoned about her 2 week old grandson. (He had been
running a fever of 102 degrees for two days. The doctors were running tests and the family was very worried).
This grandmother phoned our Emergency Prayer chain and we all prayed. Praise the Lord, that baby was healed
and is back at home doing well! Glory to God!
A 60 year old lady that is a pianist for a church in Bakersfield went into I.C.U. last week because of an infection that had
went into her blood stream. She was gravely ill and the doctors were losing hope. Her friend phoned our Emergency
Prayer chain and much prayer went up. It's only been a week and she is well and back at home again. Thank you,
Jesus, for another miracle!
Billy had hip surgery a month ago and was placed on our prayer request list. Praise the Lord, he is doing fine now!
Jonathan had pneumonia and wasn't getting over it as he should. His mom put him on our prayer request list and a
week later he was well. God is so good!
Sun, 10 Jun 2007 18:00:13 -0700 (PDT)Tim, 17, was riding his dirt bike on 5-23-07 when he fell. At first he thought
he was OK, but a few hours later his stomach was hurting so bad that he went to the emergency room at the
hospital. They found that his spleen had split in half and over half of his body's blood was in his stomach. The
doctors rushed him into surgery to remove his spleen. The situation was grave and much prayer went up. We are
happy to report that Tim is home and recovering nicely from surgery. Glory to Jesus!
Elizabeth, a 13 year old girl, was scheduled for gallbladder surgery on May 21st. But the doctor cancelled the surgery
because she hasn't had any attacks in the last several weeks. Praise the Lord, we believe she's completely healed!
Thank you, Jesus!
Tracy is pregnant and between her blood test and physical exam her doctor told her he was 90% sure that her
baby would die at birth, would she like an abortion now? She told him "No, I am not God". Prayer went up.
She just had an amniocentesis done and it shows that this baby is healthy and normal. Praise the Lord!
We know God just gave this world another one of His many miracles! Thank You, Jesus!
Also Celia Dominguiez's son, Bob Rapanot, was so much better that he came to church last Sunday! That was also
one that just went on our prayer request sheet.
-A few months ago an emergency prayer request went down our prayer chain for a 51 year old man who had two
prior heart attacks and had just had another one. He was in the hospital and the doctors said that his heart was
only pumping 20%. They gave the family no hope, according to the doctors his death would be soon. We prayed
and asked God to either heal him or give the doctors an idea of something that they could do for him. That next day
the doctors put in a defibrillator (it’s similar to a pace maker) and he was home the following week and doing very
well. Thank you, Jesus!
-A request came in January for a man in his 40’s who had a stroke and because of two embolisms near his heart,
he was not expected to live. If he did live, the brain damage looked so severe that he probably would be nothing more
than a vegetable. This request went down our Emergency Prayer Chain and was placed on our Prayer Request sheets
This week I found out that this man not only lived but he is home, he is walking with a cane and speaking.
He is getting physical therapy but he is doing so much better than anyone would have believed possible (except those
of us who were praying!).
-Another good report we received this week was for Marissa Phillips. She’s a young girl in junior high school. She
had been having severe headaches and the doctor thought that she might have a brain tumor so he decided to do
an MRI. The MRI came back normal - Praise the Lord! We will continue to pray that the headaches stop and the
doctors can find why they occur but now we know there is no tumor or anything that can be seen. God is so good!
-A grandmother phoned the emergency prayer chain for us to pray for her 15 year old grandson who had not returned
home. He had been out all night and no one knew where he was. So we prayed and within an hour a police car found
him and brought him home. Even when something is lost to us, God always know exactly where it is. Is not God
amazing?
-A couple weeks ago an emergency request came in for a 10 month old baby that was in a coma.
We prayed and I’m happy to report that the baby is no longer in a coma and is no longer in the hospital but is back
at home where he belongs.

showed no brain tumor, but she was still having headaches, now she is not!
In February Juanita Deeter had come down with pneumonia (this woman's in her early 80's), then as the antibiotics
were doing their job, she came down with colitis. She had lost weight and had no energy and was not responding
the way the doctors thought she should. Her family was so worried they thought that if the Lord didn't undertake in
this situation that she might die. That's when they called us and we put her on our Prayer Request sheet.
I am happy to report that she is now up, has a bounce in her step again and is doing well.
Thank you, Jesus! He is so wonderful!
